Jazz Mandolin Project* |
|
The Jazz Mandolin Project is pushing
forward the use of non-traditional jazz instrumentations. Jamie
Masfield centers the group with mandolin. They also use a stand up
bass, drums, trumpet, keys and a Rockcreek single guitar steel pan.

Old Mill High School Steel Drum Band* |
Old Mill High School Steel Drum Band, lead by RSD's own Mike Miller,
plays several school concerts a year and travels to perform throughout
Anne Arundel County.

Caribbean Cocktail performs at private
parties, corporate events, weddings, and clubs along the East Coast.
Their repertoire ranges from Caribbean standards to New Orleans grooves.

Playing something they like to call
"Caribbean rock," the Geckos can be seen in clubs and bars around the
Baltimore-Annapolis area blending the steel drum sound with a
traditional rock band. |

Phillips |

Orlando Phillips, a solo musician based in
Annapolis, MD plays a mixture of Caribbean and American favorites as
well as original work. Using the steel drum as one of his instruments,
he performs internationally. |
