Rockcreek Steel Drums Goes to Trinidad
In October, Kevin was invited onto The World, the "world's first ocean-going luxury resort," as a guest
lecturer and performer. For a couple weeks, we lived like kings. We disembarked
in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the birthplace of the steel drum (a.k.a. steel pan)
and enjoyed a tour of the city's panyards by our tour guide Bachac, a member of
The All-stars, one of Trinidad's premier steel bands.
