Single Guitar

The single guitar pan is used to strum chords and to play melody. Its tonal range is 13 chromatic notes starting at the D above middle C which allows it to be used to play songs in any key. It is built from a high quality 55 gallon steel drum and has a 22 inch diameter. Once you learn this pattern it is easy to switch around to playing the other members of the ensemble because their notes are arranged in a similar way. The single guitar steel drum is the drum we start all beginners on in our Rockcreek Steel Drum classes. It weighs approximately 14 pounds. This drum is painted and includes mallets and a sitting wooden stand. This drum will be shipped within two weeks. The Single Guitar Pan ships free.
